Thinking Ahead to Grade Nine Math

From time to time, we get feedback from the high school math teachers here at Aldershot.  They generally report that our students are very well prepared for grade nine math.  I am sure that the students of class 81FI have been taught the important things that are required to lay a good foundation for future math learning.

Quoi de neuf, poupée? 81FI

As you may know, in class 81FI we have been working on improving our spoken French throughout the year.  One of the ways that we have done this is to watch several movies. With each movie, we study its vocabulary in depth and then prepare skits using the new words and expressions that we have learned.  I have been very very impressed with how many new words and expressions the students are adopting into their French.  Now when we prepare skits, it is not uncommon for a student to use new voca...

Progress Report to 81FI

Students of class 81FI received a progress report and a letter with some explanations.  This is a new idea that I am trying this semester.  To  help students keep a tighter reign on their incomplete assignments, I will be trying to send home a monthly progress report.  Please ask your son or daughter about this letter.  It has lots of important information.  Thanks!  Monsieur
